Youth Work Permit

If you are at least fourteen years old and interested in obtaining a job, you will need to file for a youth work permit. Directions for filing an online work permit can be found on the Georgia Department of Labor website using this link.

Please note that you will need the following information to file for a youth work permit:

• The student’s social security number
• The student’s potential employer’s name
• The student’s address
• The student’s contact information
• You will need to print the Work Permit Minor Confirmation Page and take to the potential Employer
• Once the potential Employer completes their portion of the Youth Work Permit- the student must contact the 8th Grade School Counselor-Mrs. Wilson (Issuing Officer) to have the final Work Permit completed and issued.
