Greetings Black Knight Families,

I am excited to serve as principal of Jordan Middle School and to join a community known for its pride, dedication, and commitment to student success. I bring 25 years of experience in education, having served as a teacher, assistant principal, and most recently as an assistant director at the district office.

My journey into education began with a deep passion for music. Music taught me discipline, accountability, a passion for excellence, and the joy of achieving shared goals with a committed team. These lessons shaped the foundation of my teaching career and continue to guide my work today. They remind me daily of why I chose to serve others through education—to help students develop the skills, habits, and character that will carry them far beyond the classroom.

I envision a school where every student is proud to call Jordan Middle School home. Together, we will continue to build a safe, inclusive environment where consistent daily excellence fosters both academic achievement and strong character. I believe deeply in open communication and welcome your partnership and input as we shape the future of our school.

Dear Black Knight Parents and Families,
Welcome to Jordan Middle School! We are thrilled to have you as part of our school community.  As the assistant principal overseeing Connections, Social Studies, and Gifted Education, I am honored to serve in this role.  With over 20 years of teaching experience in education, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to our school.  

Before transitioning to educational leadership, I had the privilege of teaching various grade levels in middle school-ranging from 6th to 8th grade.  Whether it was reading, language arts, social studies, early intervention, or gifted education, I have always been enthusiastic about fostering student growth and success.

I am thrilled to be a part of the Black Knight community and serve as an Assistant Principal at Jordan Middle School. I am a product of Gwinnett County Public schools and graduated from Dacula High School. The 25-26 school year marks my 16th year in education and my fourth year as an Assistant Principal. I have taught both elementary and middle school in Gwinnett County. My husband and I currently live in Hoschton, Ga with our son and two dogs. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, crafting and playing my Nintendo Switch. I will be serving 7th grade, Athletics and Special Education this school year. I look forward to working with you and your students as we encourage the Power of One: One School. One Team. One Mission. I am so excited to be at Jordan Middle School this school year. This is my 15th year in education, and I have experience as a classroom teacher, and I have spent my last 8 years as a middle school assistant principal here in Gwinnett.  I am originally from Savannah, GA but my husband and I now reside in Dacula, GA with our 4-year-old daughter. I love baking and I own a small bakery, Quin's Sweet Treats. This year I will be serving as the 8th grade, Math and Science, and Title 9 assistant principal, and I am so thrilled to see how successful our Knights will be this school year. Please reach out if you have any concerns or just to say Hi!
